I feel like I’m in school again. Pure Data allows you to program musical “anything”. I have a binder in front of me filled with notes about how to even start programming digital gadgets. woop woop.

This recording is from last year for Radiohead’s remix competition of their single “nude”. I had a hell of a lot of fun working on it. This is the most recent work for dance I have completed. Commissioned by Stephanie Gaines of Ohio University in the fall of 2008, I hope you enjoy “to release” for two pianos, two electric guitars, string quartet and electronics.

Ableton teamed up with Akai to construct a dedicated controller for Ableton Live, and I have to say, it looks incredible.

By the looks of it, this thing is a friggin’ powerhouse for Ableton. I just may have to get my hands on this one…
